AC comes on, cycles off, and won't come back on...

We have two ACs in our Reflection 337RLS and they're on separate thermostats (unlike the Solitudes with zones). The front/bedroom AC has started displaying an "odd behavior." When initially turned on and set, it will run until it cycles off at the set temperature. Then, as the temp rises, it won't cycle back on without being turned of for a bit and turned back on. The AC in the living area does not do this. Anyone familiar enough with RV HVAC to have an idea of what might be going on?

Rob, sounds like you need to have a RV AC tech take a look.

I had the same thing happen in my last fiver. I took the cover off the thermostat and found one of the wires was never tightened down under the set screw. I snugged it up and it worked fine ever since. Hope yours turns out to be that easy.

I have not heard back from anyone at Grand Design, Joan. I've not been to uptight about it because - as of now - it's happening maybe once a week and working fine in between. Right now I'm more concerned about axle alignment problems causing rapid and unusual tire wear. We're having that looked at when we get to Augusta, GA, in April.
