    Ordered our 327M today

After a tour of the factory on Wednesday we ordered our new 327M from General RV in Birch Run today. Thanks to Rusty at General RV for making this special order toy hauler almost painless. Thanks also to Taylor at GD for answering all our questions during the factory tour on Wednesday so we knew exactly which options we wanted and which we didn't need. Was surprised to find out that our 327M will be a 2017 Model, pleased with this outcome. Now to wait about 8 weeks for the delivery.

Rickflint, congrats on your new purchase. Since you just did the factory tour maybe you can shed some light for some of us. Someone on anther forum said they just did the tour and said the floor had trash all over and people running all over with parts. What was your experience?

The factory area was very busy but was very organized and was not particularly dirty. You have to remember there is going to be saw dust and some scrap material anyplace you are building something like a trailer. Saw several people staging parts in specific areas where they would be available to the workers installing them. You could tell people have specific parts or tasks they were responsible for. I would say overall it was what I expected in a manufacturing facility.

I particularly impressed with the new PDI facility that had just moved to its new building the day before we were there. They were testing and looking at each trailer in great detail with very intense lights. They then marked those areas with tape so that they could be repaired or replaced. They were also testing all the systems on each trailer.

    Hey RickFlint,
What made you chose the 327M over the 328M? Just wondering?
