Sorry. This needs to move to the Reflections forum. Anyone know how to do this.

Most likely the switch, Mike. The switch is double pole, double throw with center off. Unlike other switches of this type, however, what it does is reverse polarity to the DC motor that operates the stabilizers. You can find the switches at most RV parts departments... in fact, I had to replace the the switch for my main gear this morning. The actuator physically broke as we were packing up to leave, so we just jumpered the wires to get the gear up. Make sure to note the location(s) of the wires on the old switch before you remove them as not all switches have the lugs numbered the same.

The switch failing is a very common problem. It's been reported many times in this form, and it failed on mine too. You can either jumper the wires, or you can raise it manually with the crank you were provided.

Yes - which is why I just bought a replacement switch myself. It's the same electrical configuration, but much stronger mechanically. Still pops into the mounting rectangle.

It happened to ours too on our last trip. Our dealer replaced with a heavy duty one that is closed in the back also. The original one had open wires on the back side.

Hi Rob. Sorry I'm so late on this but I just ran across the post. Is the switch the same for different models? I have a reflection 260RD. If they are the same, do you remember what switch (and where) you bought it? Would the location be similar on different models? Thanks for the help. John

Your signature shows a 2019 337RLS. Do you have a Stabilizer Jack toggle switch for your jacks or were you referring to the toggle switch for your slides? My 337RLS uses Ground Control leveling control for ypthe jacks.

NEVER MIND! I see your posting was from 2016 and your signature shows you had an older 303RLS back then. SORRY.

    John,

This is a very old thread and we don't have the 2016 Reflection any more. I purchased the switch somewhere in Louisiana at an RV parts store. That said, you don't say what year your 260RD is. If it has auto-leveling (which our Reflection did not), the systems are completely different and this thread does not apply to you.
