Picked up our 303rls on Tuesday

Just picked up our 303rls. on Tuesday. We needed a little larger rig than what we had since we will be spending Winters in Arizona and Summers traveling. We have only owned this rig for 2 days, but I gotta say that there are some things we really love (auto leveling) and some things we really hate (the location of the fresh water tank drain valve. Not old people friendly) about the new rig. However, I think that's the way it is with any RV we would have bought. No perfect rig out there. There seems to be a lot of knowledge in this forum and I am looking forward to picking everyone's brain for info and advice.

Are auto levelers standard these days or an upgrade option? Our 303 is a 2016 and purchased in July 2015. Auto leveling was not an option. I sure miss it too because I had them on my motorhome before we went to a 5th wheel.

Congrats travelinman, that fresh water tank drain valve will only be a problem if you put water in the tank..!!

Per the MSRP info on their app, auto levelling is a $2900 "mandatory option".
Interesting concept . . . if it is mandatory how can it be an option ?
Maybe just to point out that they have added $2900 (MSRP) of new hardware ??

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new 303rls. The auto leveling is a great option we also love ours, takes all the work out of leveling the 5th wheel and also hooking back up to the TV with the auto memory feature of the leveling system.

The auto leveling is a mandatory option. In other words, it's standard.

Congrats, travelinman, and welcome to the family! JKBKIOWA made an extension out of pvc on his 303rls, for the fresh water tank drain, that comes out near the rear bumper. A lot easier to use.
