27RL - Slam latch locks very tight

On our new Reflection 27RL we have very stiff locks on the slam latches and front generator/battery compartment. Inserting the key in all the lock is difficult. Once the keys are in the locks they work fine.

Does anyone have any tips on making inserting keys smoother? I thought about WD40 but not sure if that is the right stuff.

Ditto on silicone. We use a product called ZEP in the Shop, works well.

I used WD-40 on all the locks when we first got our trailer. There are probably better lubes for locks but any kind of lube will get the keys to work.

I used Lock Ease spray. It's a graphite lube made especially for locks. All of our locks were stiff when new also.
