one axle side to side leveling

saw this set up at Kaweah RV Resort last weekend (awesome park, three rivers converge right outside your window, 11 miles from big trees @ Sequoia National Park) .
Seems to me this method would put stress on the one axle but the guy told me he's been doing it a long time and it's a lot easier than raising both tires.

Anybody see any issues with doing it this way?

    Thanks,

Hey John, we were there last year. Very nice but it was around 100 degrees. Much nicer now I'm sure.

On the blocks, not much different than being on uneven surface, but wouldn't do it on purpose if there were too much difference.

Thanks Jim. Yes the weather was fine, rivers at a decent level, green all around with a few poppies.

I've done the same thing fairly often when one block under one wheel levels the trailer. If it's still not level, then I use a block under both wheels. I would never try to level a trailer that needed a lot of blocking by putting all the blocking under just one wheel.

    John,

Be careful with putting too much weight on one axle. When one axle goes up the other comes down because of the equiflex. Eventually the equiflex will allow the the shackle to flip itself over. In that pic, it is almost to that point. I have read about folks having a hard time flipping the shackle back up once it is upside down. I recommend raising both axles at the same time. Just stack blocks fwd or aft of both wheels and pull or reverse. Ive done it a few times.

What would be the advantage of raising one wheel?
