Contamination in Carpet of 2016 303rls

I posted this on the General forum but I heard GD does not monitor the General forum son I thought I would hopefully relay this info to GD Tech. section. After being stuck in the foot from something in the bedroom carpet I took a closer look in the carpet and I discovered a lot of debris buried deep in the carpet. We ran a sweeper over the carpet several times after picking up the unit but to our surprise I still found 12 metal staples not attached to anything laying in the carpet and a lot of splinter shaped pieces of wood caught up in the carpet. I will attempt to attach a photo of some of the staples I found and they would hurt if stepped on. Thought I would give a WARNING shout out that you may want to revisit your staple process and QA checks.

We also have the exact same problem with our 2016 337 RLS Reflection 5'we. I've stepped on 3 of the staples along with numerous wood splinters. I hate walking barefoot in the bedroom. Have tried vacuuming several times and all you see is mostly wood splinters in the vacuum canister. Not sure how to remedy this situation. It's only two months old and doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Its not anything that is uncommon.

You should see how other brands ship into a dealer. At least GD takes the time to attempt to vacuum the debris.

Not much you can do about it...

The floor covering goes on first, then walls and inside furnishings are installed

I understand that the building process can cause various issues with debris but I guess my point was trying to address the production process mainly with the staples. Maybe there should be a review of the application of staples or a little more attention to the application. A dozen staples laying loose within a four square foot area could mean there is an issue.
