    Mounting Towel Racks in Bathroom?

Any ideas for towel racks in the bathroom? How do you mount towel racks when there appears to only be 1 stud running down the middle of the wall behind the toilet? Can't use over the door racks as we have a pocket door. Any suggestions / ideas are appreciated!

I used the E-Z Twist-N-Lock anchors bought at Home Depot. http://www.homedepot.com/p/E-Z-Ancor...5310/100040265

I have a 368RD and mounted two towel racks in my bathroom. The first one above and to the left of the toilet and to the right of the doorway. The wall in that location backs up to the control panel by the stairs. After drilling holes all the way through, ABOVE the control panel, I used brass screws in brass 'Cup-Washers' and screwed from the shelf above the control panel and into the backside of the towel rack. The second one was different. I mounted the towel rack to the right of the medicine cabinet which backs up to the bedroom. Here there is about a 2" space between the walls so I set two plastic mollies into the wall, set the screws from the front, and then removed the screws. I then put Velcro Tape on the back of the towel rack, top and bottom, before setting it back in place with the screws. I might also say that I custom made both towel racks. Good luck. John Souza

We bought a spring-loaded hanging rack (with a rod that goes from the floor to the ceiling) that has four hanging arms and a hook for my wife's shower cap. We put it in a corner where the hanging arms can be staggered on one wall or the other. Between this and the one towel bar that was already mounted, both of our bath towels and about three hand/hair towels dry in less than 24 hours every day (we're full-timers). The rack/pole was less that $20 on Amazon and is one of our favorite accessories.

    Smile Hanging Rack

That sounds like a great idea. I will look for the rack on Amazon. Do you remember what it was called? Thanks!

Here's the link. The pole has several sections and, since the ceiling is lower upstairs in our fifth wheel, all I had to do is leave one of the pole sections out. It works perfectly for us.
