Happijac support legs
Does anyone with the happijac in their toy hauler have a problem with the legs being too short? Both front sets are an inch too short, and both sets over the dovetail are 3 1/2 inches short. And, yes, they are adjusted in the bottom holes.

There was a thread on this a year or so ago and others had this problem. May want to search the forum as I don't remember when/where it was posted.

I think the end result was that the legs are only there to use when the bench seats are removed from the brackets and used as free standing.

imlo23, I am assuming that you are talking about the single legs that that are on the seat backs that should be used to support the center of the bed when in the bed configuration. Ours are too short as well, I use a piece of 2x4 to support them. I think in the actual problem is due to the system being mounted too high up on the wall. I had to adjust the top bunk stops to the lowest position in order to get the ladder remotely close enough to be used.

Does anyone have any pictures of these support legs? We don't have any at all so currently working with dealer to get them. We will have to install ourselves but I cannot find a picture of these anywhere.

Strange. Ours hit the floor as soon as the unit stops moving down (when we remember to fold them down).

I have a 2020 397 that doesn't have the legs and contacted Grand Design questioning why. I was told Happijac sent the manufacturers literature saying they are not needed. Apparently testing by them proved this. And a question I posed on Facebook showed no 2020 owners had them. Looks like the change was made mid year 2019 cause some had and some didnt. However, the person I spoke with said they (Grand Design) would happily send them to me to install. All I had to do was email customer service with my request. Be sure and include your Vin #. I followed up with them today and they told me they are on the way.
