New Odor Source Located
Ever since our coach as new, we'd occasionally get a whiff of an ugly odor inside the 337. It seemed to be at its worst around the stair case. We'd also smell it from time to time in the basement area. This morning, I removed the basement partition to install a water sensing alarm under the Kan-Leak panel. While I had everything exposed, I did an inspection for any potential issues.
I used a flashlight to peer into some of the recessed areas, and I found the source of the odor! The vent for the kitchen holding tank was not connected and shifted over a couple of inches! Instead of venting to the roof, it was venting in the basement. As you can see from the pictures, this will not be an easy fix. With narrow access and a ton of wires in the way, I don't think I can adequately access it from the basement to make repairs. I think I'll need to tear into the hutch cabinet to gain enough room to fix it. I'll post the repair method and pictures when I get it figured out.

It is fractured. I was able to gain access by pulling the breaker panel. I've already cut off the broken flange, and I'm headed to the hardware store for a coupling. Should have it fixed shortly.
Access Panel Removed
Fractured Coupling
Fractured section removed and ready for flexible connector

Thanks guys. All fixed. Total time to repair about 90 minutes. Total cost $4.11. Satisfaction of taking care of another problem without having to drag it to the dealer - Priceless!

Glad it was not too tough. It looks like maybe it was in a bind.
