337RLS Shower head bracket screws are loose

Has anyone else had this issue and how did they correct it? Oh, these are not just loose, the screws were over torqued and stripped out. I believe it was done by the factory, since the previous owner didn't do squat anything to this camper to either fix it themselves or have the dealer fix it.

I am tempted to cut an access hole in the closet, construction glue in a piece of 3/4" plywood and screw the bracket back on and into the plywood. Then I would have to work some magic and replace the paneling that was removed for access and make it look as good as new. I can do that.

I can do all that, but has anyone tried using those little plastic anchors for this issue and had long term success?

My fix: When I removed the bracket from the fiberglass wall, I could se the wall was a lot thicker than I anticipated. I stepped up one size on the screws (Stainless) and all is good.

For many years of repairing this type of thing on fiberglass boats, I just get a small amount of two-part expoxy (Lowe's or Home Depot) and patch/refill the holes. After the epoxy cures, I drill pilot holes the proper size and put the screws back in. That way I don't have to worry about oversize screws being to big for the fixture and cracking it.
