Universal Remote Control

Hello, has anyone found a universal remote control that will operate both a Haier TV and a Furrion DVD Player?
We are not using Dish or Direct, so we do not have the option of using one of their remotes. Thank You!

In my humble opinion, the Logitech Harmony remotes are the best there are - and the Furrion junk isn't in their database. My Harmony will control the TCL TV (different brand from yours), but I've replaced/bypassed the Furrion with a Polk Audio sound bar with wireless sub and a good DVD/Blu-Ray player. The Harmony controls everything in my system.

I agree that the Harmony remotes are incredible. 2 options that might help you fix this: 1) Call Logitech - once they did not have a TV I had in their database. When I called and gave them the information they immediately added it to the database. 2) Harmony remotes can Learn the device as long as you have the original remote.

Well, people are encouraged to use the search function. When you find a thread that has information you're looking for and start reading, it's real easy to miss the dates. I've done it myself.

Besides, the Harmony remote I have is still working great after the 7 or 8 years I have had it.
