    A little different version of the fishing pole holder

    Back in the early 90's my dad made a carrying case for his poles when flying to Alaska. He handed it down to me and I have adapted it to use for the RV. I'ts the typical 4" PVC with a glued bottom and a cap that pops off. Dad cut slits in it to run a flat "L" shaped piece of metal so he could lock the cap. (see pics) there is a carrying strap. I like to because it protects my various poles when stored... and I can grab the whole thing and throw it my truck. I plan on rigging some hooks to hang it from the ceiling of the storage compartment of the 303. As I was packing to leaving for our trip tomorrow...I just thought I'd share another variation.
