Ram 2500 & 3500 short bed with factory pucks system ?

I would like to know what hitch you are using in your short bed with the factory pucks and what model Grand Design you have ? Also do you like it or would you change it to something else like a slider?

As far as I know, Curt is the only company that makes a drop in slider for the pucks. Demco makes the best "Picture Frame" for most hitches as it's the only one that doesn't add extra height to hitches.

I'm using a B&W Non-Slider set in the rearward most position with a Solitude. If it was a reflection then I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Anderson is another option. You just use the goosneck ball in the center hole. I would have gone this way, however you can't secure it and my RV lives in storage when not being used.

I have the 3500 short bed and use a Pullrite 2900 super slide. Had to get Pullrite rails to install where pucks are then hitch. Have the 375RE. LOVE the slider best thing i have..

X2 on the Pullrite. Use their picture frame system to mount to the pucks. This does raise the hitch, which on mine required adjustment of pin box to ensure level towing.

Love the slider for pulling our 350M. The only downside is the weight. I rigged up a rope pulley for times I need to take the hitch out of the truck.
