Water pump will not shut off, air in the water lines

We just purchased our 2016 Solitude 366DEN and are getting ready to take it out for the first time, next Wednesday. Problem is the water pump will not shut off in the dry camping mode (Nautilus system), and if you run the faucets, there is air in the lines that does not clear. I have read thru other threads and tried all the suggestions posted: all outside faucets/valves are closed, ran the pump to "prime it", try running each faucet until there is no air, etc. When we sanitized the system it took forever just to draw solution into the system. Contacted our dealer and they figured it was the pump, gave us a new one to install. Same problem. Somewhere air is getting into the system...any suggestions that maybe we are overlooking?

This is a "Kantleak" answer . . . but it might apply to Nautilus ?
Sometimes the Kantleak valve will allow air in through the hose connection to the pump intake when trying to draw water from the tank.
The fix for this is to cap or plug the hose connection when drawing from the tank.

If you pulled pure bleach in through the selector valve, the corrosive characteristics of bleach may have ruined the valve. I learned a lesson about that the hard way

    LC,

I was wondering about that on the other discussion about sanitizing the water tank when some said that they draw in full strength bleach and then add water . . .

Never, ever draw straight bleach, always a mixture This is our 3rd fifth wheel, but first GD and it's brand new, so its a new system for us. We are beginning to think there is a leak somewhere in the tank or fittings that is allowing air in. Trying to get in with our dealer right now is next to impossible with the holiday weekend coming up. Just wanted to check with forum members to see if anyone else had same issue and how they resolved it. Time to start bugging the dealer to get us in!

One of the surprising things to me about the Nautilus system is the position of the four valves is exactly the same for drawing water from the tank and using a pressurized water source.

SWAG (scientific wild a$$ed guess) is there must be a one-way valve that is closed at atmospheric pressure that opens under pressure of a water hookup.

A long shot but have you checked the faucets for the washer? I forget that thing is in my closet and one time found it wasn't closed properly. Best to open and then close (as opposed to just trying to tighten it) so it will seal better. Same with the outdoor shower faucet.

    A couple of thoughts:

    1. You mentioned dry camping mode, the Nautilus has a dry camping mode for filling the tank and another for using from the tank. Are the valves set to using mode - all four handles should be horizontal or turned to the left. This is also the same position for a pressurized water hookup.

    2. Please don't hit me for this dumb question, what does the water level indicator say? Just making sure that there is actually water in the tank.

That was one of the first things we did, made sure the washer and outside shower were completely off. And did just as you suggested - turned them on, then off to make sure completely closed. Same thing with the water intake fitting, checked the cap was on correctly.
