Is there a preferred brand/type of caulk for this purpose?

Haha what timing, same issue here on my 2800BH. Looks like a seam above the oven vent area that is leaking. Will caulk myself.

Unfortunately, our Imagine has been leaking on both sides of the trailer from day one. We thought it was a normal thing, until just today I found this thread. It is leaking from the gutters (or behind the gutters), down both sides of the trailer in several places. This is causing streaking on the sides of the trailer. When it rains or there is a lot of condensation, it streams down over the entry doors...Even when the awning is out.

Same problem with a 2022 3100RD. Dealer caulked the gutters and that helped. But I looked and found a gap over the entry where two pieces of gutter extrusion butt together. I’ll fix it myself…right.

Just an update to this, had the same issue on my new 25G. Checking in the gutter there was a huge blob of silicone (Just like my 2800BH), obviously a quick job.

Pulled all that out and scrapped out the rest of the silicone. Cleaned with alcohol and taped off the area. Then used multiple shots of Flex-Seal spray to build up a nice even waterproof membrane inside the gutter. Problem solved and looks good.

Searched for this issue to see if this is still occurring. I recently purchased a 2024 Imagine 2600RB and water is streaming down the TT from where the awning attaches to the roof edge.

It's a common issue on new trailers.. You can either take it back to the dealer for warranty fix or save time and do seals it yourself.

Just picked up my 2024 3100RD up and I am not sure how I missed that gap during my inspection between the two gutter awning rails (attached 2 pics). I just caulked the gap today and now it appears that there are leaks where the awning inserts into the rail. Not sure what the fix is for that yet!
