Anyone install a extractor fan in the bedroom for a 313RLTS?

If it gets too hot I turn on the AC but lately when my wife and I wake up in the mornings, the bedroom gets pretty hot and I notice condensation build up on the windows and slide seals, I'd like to install an extractor fan in the bedroom vent but the wiring is 120v AC. I'd like to run it as 12v like the bathroom vent, any ideas?

My dream would be a extractor fan that turns on automatically when the humidity gets too high or when the room goes above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

I did... I'll find the thread and post it.

EDIT: Sorry... not in the 313RLTS but maybe this will be of some assistance.

I read through the post. Seems like I can just install the fan and run power from the other bathroom fan. Is there really that much space in the roof to run the wires easily or did you have to remove a bunch of insulation?

I was able to fish a fish tape between the two fairly easily, really didn't have to mess with the insulation much.

    Hey Nacho
I installed a Maxx fan in our solitude bedroom with the expert advise of Jim. It was not really hard once I found the placement for it. I don't know how to post the thread but just search, install maxx fan in bedroom.

There should be 120 and 12 volt prewired to the bedroom vent. When installing my bedroom AC I had to use both 120 and 12v. If there is an orange pair of wires up there that is 12 volts. It doesn't end at the vent so you will just need to tap into them.

On ours the 120V wire is on the street side and the 12V wire is on the curb side of the opening, I don't know if they're all the same.
I installed a vortex 3 variable speed reversible unit, in part because it installs without disturbing anything on the roof.

I just installed the aux AC in the bedroom of our 313RLTS and there is 120V, 12V (orange/white), and a 7 wire Tstat wire all roughed to the roof opening.

The problem is he is ADDING a vent, not replacing one that is already there.
