High Wind Resistant RV Door Hinge

I saw that Forest River Sabres have a door hinge that prevents slamming of the door with the wind.

It has some sort of hinge that leaves the door open in winds up to 20mph in any position. Thought my Reflection would have the same but it doesn't.

    Should they?
If not can it be modified to do that?
Will call Lippert next week but thought I'd post here and ask.

    Thanks

Tay, you might consider posting this in the new feature section so GD can consider it in future builds. Sounds like a great feature.

I've seen that feature on several RVs. I wasn't too impressed.

We have one on our current 5er and it works great. Even if the a wind gust above 20 MPH is doesn't slam closed and just swings closed. I also wish GD would include them.

I have a 379FL with the pneumatic strut. I guess it's spoiled me. I don't have to tug or pus to open the door. The door holder deal didn't work very well in S. Texas

The new ones are built into the hinge and there isn't a strut. I don't like like the ones with the strut either....
