I believe its under the trailer from what I have seen on a video from Changing Lanes. They did a video on the GD national rally and showed the pump.

It does sound more like an electrical issue in this case.
Pure gas is almost impossible to get.. Thanks to the corn/ethanoll mandate. The only place i have seen it is at Home Depot,,,, sold by the quart! It is for string trimmers etc. Very high priced.

If you live near any lakes, check with the gas stations near them. Some of them carry it in their pumps for boats.

Here you go. It's not common, but it's usually available within a 30 minute drive or so. I only fill the RV with no-e gas, I just don't burn enough fast enough to keep it from going bad. Up in NY on a trip this spring I was able to get 93 octane no-e gas for a great price, I filled everything I could, both tanks on the 351 and the motorcycle. When I see it, I buy it. And I also buy it all the time for my small engines, none of them have ever seen E, and, because of that (since I've been doing it), I've not rebuilt a single carb. It's wonderful.
