refrigerator freezer question ?

Regardless of brand of refrigerator can you tell me if your ice cream stays hard and frozen or soft and mushy ? And tell me the manufacture of the refrigerator ?

Yes...hard and frozen on our Atwood but dependent on where you put it in the freezer...bottom of the freezer is best and not jam-packed. Running the fridge on 120V and set on 4 (of 5).

Samsung keeps the freezer at -2 degrees and ice cream is hard.

I don't recall reading it but we buy the low fat (Edys churned) and it's almost never frozen solid but is not mushy soft either. We get both sugar and no sugar added . No sugar added freezes fairly solid bordering on hard. Also keep ice cream on the bottom left .
We have the Atwood helium.
I do recall at a past rally during a q&a with Dometic/Atwood they did say the cheaper ice creams freeze better than the quality brand ice creams.
