What do you recommend for the drop length and color?
    Thanks

John, yes we still love it although we actually use it seldom. It all depends on the site obviously. It was worth the cost for us especially when we boondock. I bought the 9 ft. drop which consists of the standard 6 ft. body and a 3 ft. insert (the part that stays attached to the awning tube). We chose brown.

    Sun shade

Did anyone figure out how to get the shade in the groove on the roller when the plastic end caps cover the end of the groove? Extremely frustrating! Can’t find any info. Thanks in advance!

Just put mine on today. Direction state to overextend the awning, meaning to keep extending it until it starts to roll backward (as if you were retracting it incorrectly). If you go about a quarter to half a roll backwards, there is a dip in the plastic cover on the non-motor side (left side on mine) that aligns with the slot in the awning tube. Slides in perfectly. Also once you have it all the way in and centered, cut the plastic ends flush with the end of the tube or else when you roll it back in, it will click as its too long and rubbing inside the end cover. Takes about 10 min to install
