Ramp lights wiring to turn on when in reverse

    Hello,

My 7 way connector plug has power to the auxiallary pin when in reverse. Does anyone know how to wire in the ramp lights to come on when in reverse? I cannot find a wiring schematic anywhere. 2017 398m Momentum

Hey there! No schematics are available for wiring, water or plumbing. In my 380 the scare lights turn on at the garage subpanel. How to get from the front of the trailer to there is going to be a fun one.

I would suggest running your own wiring in conduit alongside the frame and install your own bright LED lights near the bumper/ramp on a truck controlled switch. The scare lights are set way too high to see anything at bumper level when backing in the dark and they aren't very bright to boot.
Had this setup on my last 5er and it worked extremely well for backing in the dark. Haven't found I needed it yet on this one but suspect I will do the same thing when I get some free time.
