    King Pin Height?

Anyone know the height of our king pins? Is it standard?

I'm looking at king pin stabilizers and not sure if 50" max length is long enough.

The bottom of the kingpin on our 303 is 50" from the ground . . . on level ground . . . which is almost never.
There is a fair amount of height adjustment and I have only had to use additional blocks a couple of times.
We have the aluminum version which works well and is easier to position and store, if you change sites a lot.
See the discussion (and link to the aluminum tripod in post #6) on this thread.

Thanks. Some are shorter than others so wasn't sure if I'd need one that goes to 60+ inches.

I would be more concerned about minimum height than maximum height. You can always block it up, but if the campsite slopes up towards the front, you might find considerably less than 50" between the ground and the pin with the camper level.

Thanks for the replies. Think I'm gonna order the aluminum one for weight savings or the deluxe with 41-68" reach. Only a 13# difference.

    Decisions, decisions.

    UPDATE
Went ahead and ordered this: http://www.ultra-fab.com/new_detail....gnum=19-950200

I did some more researching and the weight difference steel vs aluminum versions is actually more like 25-30 bs depending on the source. Need it by a Friday morning too. So glad we have Amazon Prime ☺
