    bike rack mounted to bumper

Looking to haul 2 bikes behind our 369rl. Any words of wisdom on type of mount, brands, etc? I pulled into Brownwood, Texas one hot August afternoon, to find i was dragging the 3 bikes behind me. The bumper on my keystone sprinter TT was so flimsy, it just peeled back from the supports.

Here is how I handle it on my 369. The part is available from many after market supplies including Amazon and Camping World.

One option would be roof racks for your vehicle. I have a set of Thule roof racks. I use them to carry bikes and 10' kayaks. I carry a small step ladder to load and unload them.

I have been looking to do the same. I am looking into this but have not pulled the trigger yet. https://www.mount-n-lock.com/mnl-car...bumper-failure.

    Looks promising.

I have the 369RL and carried two bikes on the bumper. The first bike rack had a small hitch (1.5") manufactured by Swagman, that bent downward after several trips due to the bouncing of the bikes, especially as we crossed bridges). The second one was a two inch hitch by them also, and while this seemed better and stronger, the bouncing of the RV eventually caused a problem.
Got to the Keys , Fl and saw that the bumper was breaking off from the frame, and had a welder to weld to braces from the bumper to the frame and weld where it was cracked.

Since the I have changed to a bike holder that the bikes tires rest on (XC hitch from Camping World), which greatly reduced the stress on the bumper. Lastly, I replaced one of the bikes with an ultra light one, and Have not had a problem since, and have traveled a lot with this set up.
    Hope this helps.
