Bedside table mods to hold a CPAP machine

We have a 2016 Reflection 318 and love it, but the bedside table is too narrow to hold a CPAP machine. Has anyone come up with a great mod for this?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new camper!

We had the same issue with our 337. Instead of trying to modify the side tables, I added a shelf above the headboard to hold the CPAP units. I had to reduce the height of the headboard about 7" to make room for the shelf.

That space next to the bed was a factor in choosing our328 for the same reasons.. We liked a lot of the bedroom floor plans but left no table or space for my CPAP machine.. I'm still looking at ideas to create more room on the night stand next to the bed...

I just read in Trailer Life about cutting a board down to proper size and finishing
it with stain/paint then sliding it under the mattress at a 90 degree angle with just the end sticking out
to hold your CPAP. They said you need a couple feet at least sticking under the mattress
    to support the CPAP.

Nice looking shelf. I'd be concerned that I would pull the CPAP down on my head with the hose.

Obviously that could be very easily mitigated though. Nice shelf and idea Dave!

So when we were looking for a trailer, one of our requirements was space for a CPAP; no space, no deal.

I know the OP is talking about a 318, but several of the responses have involved 337s. My wife's new CPAP is small enough that it fits nicely on the little carpeted area of the slide just below the "bedside table" on her side of the bed (front of trailer/closet side). We put a hard foam yoga brick under it to provide more solid footing and keep it off the carpet. No trailer modifications necessary.

We have small end tables luckily. My issue was no 110v CPAP power available at night when dry camping. I'll eventually install an inverter, but even then, you lose a lot of power converting from 12vdc to 110vac and then back down to whatever DC voltage the CPAP circuitry uses.

I have a factory 12v DC to DC adapter for my ResMed S9 CPAP and prefer to run it off of the house batteries. Trouble is GD has no 12v outlets anywhere in the bedroom or the whole RV for that matter. I found this little guy on Amazon. It has a 15A fuse in the back. I just cut off the male plug, drilled a small hole in the wall, fished the wire up to the bedside light switch, tapped in, done. Will post a picture of the installed CPAP/USB charge station next time I get out to the storage yard.
