    Fire/smoke alarm

Almost everytime I cook or even just light a candle or spray some room spray very lightly the alarms go off. It is way too sensitive. The only way I can get it to stop is if I turn on the fans and sometimes I even have to open a door. This happens even when there is NO visible smoke or anything. Hair spray even sets it off and at times cologne. Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity?

Ours does too. It's a very small confined space. We turn on fans when we think of it otherwise I just reset the alarm and it usually doesn't come back on.

I just remove the battery every time we cook, then reinstall when done. A pain for sure, but only alternative we have found.
