Does Full Timing cancel your warrant?

I've been told from a certain dealer that if I full time my warranty is void. I assume he speaks of the dealerships guarantee not of the factory warranty. Is this common in the industry?

We have been full-timing in our 337 for 2-1/4 years. We have had repairs done by 4 or 5 dealers without drama. GDRV has dealers pledge to repair units on the road with functional issues as a top priority. We have had good results with this pledge! But IMHO unless you purchase one, there is no dealer warranty per se.

I don't know about GD but it is very common for warranties to be voided for full time use. Remember, it isn't only the manufacturer of the RV, each appliance is warrantied by its own manufacturer.

The best policy in this regard is don't offer the information.

I pulled out the GD warranty. There is nothing in the warranty that addresses full timing.

I wouldn't think so. If so don't admit you full time. Think about the reverse, you get a year warranty on items. If you don't full time and live in a wintery area you're trailer is in storage for almost half the year, and they don't extend it for you.

This question has been asked of the reps on eithier here or the FB page, can't remember which one it was. Anyways, they told us all, that the bottom line is that Grand Design honors their 1 year warranty, no questions asked. If it's a manufacturing default, they will cover it.

I just purchased my Momentum 350 a couple of months ago. This particular model is rated residential and does not void manufacture warranty according to the dealership I purchased from. I hope to full time it soon.

Attached is the link from GDRV site regarding use of "Extended stay" (ES) and "Full time living" (FTL) apparently synonymously. Is GDRV implying that FTL is the same as ES or is the wording of this section stated in such a way to NOT really interpret one is exactly the same as the other whether it be for warranty and/or other potential issues ?

At the RV Show in Pamona, Ca. (billed as the largest RV Show in the west) we had an opportunity to go all around the Momentum 376TH with a factory rep. He told us that this is the only 5th wheel toy hauler that the warranty is not voided by living full time.....told us that they want their customers to use them as much as possible. No, I didn't get it in writing.
SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually. Not pulling the 5er, catch me on my 2013 CVO Harley Ultra Classic.

Map = states that we've stayed at least one night in our RV.
