Gravity fill from 5 gal tank

Picking up my new 2800bh next week.
Is there an easy way to add water to the fresh water tank when levels are running low if you are not on city water? Assuming I had several small tanks of water and a short hose what do I need to efficiently flow water into the 2800BH tank?

The 5th wheels are configured to use the onboard pump to pump water into the fresh water tank, if required. I don't know if the Imagine TTs are this way or not.

I've heard it mentioned that there's a gravity fill connection on the door side of the camper. You can fill the FW tank pouring the containers directly in it and pump from the containers into the gravity fill with a portable 12V pump.

You can hoist a 6-gallon container by hand to gravity fill the tank.
Some people use a manual or electric bilge pump to transfer water. Others use a Harbor Freight 12V marine pump or a spare RV water pump.

Our last 2 trailers had the gravity fill. We sanitized a new battery operated syphon pump meant for kerosene to use for filling the tank while dry camping.
Worked like a charm. Set the jug on a low table insert pump and let it do it's thing. I think it took about 3 mins for a 7 gallon jug.

So do you just pour into the gravity fill connection on door side with a funnel or are hose connections required?

If your container has a spout that will fit into the gravity fill port then you don't need a funnel. If the container doesn't have a spout or the spout's too big then you need a funnel (I recommend a flexible spout one.)
