Max. Carry Load Weight , Front Compartment, Solitude 300GK

I'm considering the install of four 6v AGM batteries (series & parallel connect) to replace the single wet 12v battery. The four AGM's weigh around 275'ish pounds total. Called Grand Design and was advised that the 300GK front compartment is rated to carry a maximum of 200 pounds. That quote seems a bit light considering relatively large generators can be installed there. Any thoughts?
Oh sure, lots of other electrical issues to address, but I didn't think this was the right thread to go into that discussion.

I agree with LC, you can easily run some angle iron under the floor from frame to frame which should carry about whatever you want. My generator, however, is not sitting on the floor. It is mounted to the for and aft compartment frame.

4 AGM batteries is a bunch. I take it you plan a lot of dry camping?
