Metal valve stems

Blowing the dust off an old thread with a stupid question.

Those of you that have regular tire shops do this, how are you doing it? Are you taking the wheels loose? Are you taking the trailer to the shop and removing the wheels one at a time?

I took my wheels to the shop and had the stems installed as I put new tires on but obviously they can install them without dismounting the tires.

Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure how that would work, but I'm not a wheel and tire expert. I guess I have some learning to do.

I took 1 side off at a time (2 wheels) when I did the CRE-3000 upgrade. I don't know the part number of the stems, but there are two standard sizes, and any tire shop will have both of them in stock.

Great information! I ordered a set of 4 of the TR-416, VS-8 shorties, and VS-8 regulars. All 12 ran me about $11 shipped from AliExpress.com. I'll follow up with pictures and experiences once I take it all to the tire shop and see what happens.
