Fresh water runs out? 2014 337RLS Need support from Grand Design

This is the second post and is about the pump running out of water before the tank is empty.

We had a problem with the water pump running continuously which indicates we are out of water.
I checked the water level panel and sure enough, it is out of water.
I added 18 gallons of water and the pump now pumps water! (Of course it does)

I could go into the entire story how I filled the tank and it siphoned off, but that is in another thread.

The bottom line is, I measured the water remaining in the tank after the pump stopped pumping...18 gallons was still in the tank.

So if I add 18 gallons to it, I have 36 gallons. Except I can only use the upper 18 gallons. Obviously the pump pick up tube is not on the bottom of the tank.

Again, will Grand Design stand behind this 2014 camper? Please?

Grand Design doesn't monitor this section of the forum. Your best bet is to call them directly and explain your situation.

So... over flow siphons out and pump won't pick up lower part of tank. Wouldn't that be something if someone hooked them up backwards?

Hmm, either way it is connected, the pump would not be able to pick up water from the bottom of the tank, right? The over flow tube isn't on the bottom of the tank either or it wouldn't leave 18 gallons in the tank.
