floor getting soft in front of ice bos on 2016 337RLS Reflection

Not sure what is happening. Just noticed the floor about 4 boards out from ref and about five foot long is getting soft. Trailer is only 16 months old. We had to have the black tank reinstalled and now the grey tank is leaking but it is leaking by the door. Don't understand why the floor is sinking. We are getting discouraged but we live in our fifth wheel and volunteer for the state of Florida so it is not water coming in from the road as we are in one place 4 months at a time.
We have an appointment in Dec to get the tank fixed but this is getting serious. It just started showing signs of weakness about 2 weeks ago and we are already concerned it will fall through before we get to the Dec appointment. Has anyone else had this problem? We have had so many with this RV we are getting scared.

I haven't heard of this problem. I can't envision what would be causing it other than water damage.

We have a 2019 320mks with 2 areas in the kitchen that have gotten soft in the floor. Can not understand as we have only traveled with the trailer 100 miles since we purchased it and put it in our shop during the winter. No miles on it since we bought it used 1 year old. It came from AZ, original owner had it less than a year and passed away. We purchased it from a so call reputable GD dealer in Oregon in 2020. It has no water leaks what so ever and we have a dedicated RV pad on our property and take it out for spring and summer for visitors. This weakness in the floor is mysterious to us. Looking all over the internet I read other similar stories but nothing from GD to back it up. Our trailer gets babied as most are outside for their lifetime. Seems funny there is no talk by the builder of these rv's. Were planning on selling it soon and replace it with a mini house that is not susceptible to these rv problems. Life is to short to spend time waiting for repairs when quality so called manufacturing is supposed to be in place for the end user.

We had a drop in ours near the stove, It was a frame defect (repaired by Lippert) . Is there any way to have a mobil tech pull back the coroplast to see if the welds broke on the floor support part of the frame?

This could just be the foam compressing in the floor
Is it in a place where you stand to cook?

It isn’t a serious issue if it is just the foam If it is water or frame structure more serious but I doubt it is

The original post was 2016, but this poster was answering the new poster.

I believe I would do some exploring since this happens fairly rarely, probably something you want to get fixed before selling. Heck, could be termites.

He quoted the old post, but I think he was replying to the new poster. Hard to say, as you say it is a 7 year old thread.

Either way it doesn't matter ,old or new it could help someone else in the future. That's what happens when old posts are dragged up to the top.
