Beware the Battery Location!!
The location of the battery box and the way rainwater drains off the front cap will fill your battery box up with rainwater. The battery box cover has vent holes in the top that will allow rainwater to run right in and fill up the box. Eventually, it could short out or corrode the battery connections. I drilled some small holes in the bottom of the battery box, but the vents on the top are going to have to be sealed to prevent water from getting in. It's just a bad location for the battery box.

Batteries and boxes are dealer added, so you may a different box than others.
Good tip to remember to check it once in a while though.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

I drilled a hole in the bottom four corners of my battery box to allow for drainage, as mine was filling up also.
