    2015 Solitude 320X - Mouse Invasion

So we had a mouse invade the rig. As if chewing on packages and boxes wasn't enough, the little pest chewed through a Tupperware container filled with flour. The hard thing is, the sucker chewed some of the finish off two of the feet on the kitchen island. Couldn't have been too tasty. We are now in the process of working with the dealer to buy some paint from Grand Design to get some paint to sand it down and paint it. We have bought an electronic rodent eradicator. Hope it works.

We use 3 of the electronic blasters; 1 each in living room, bedroom, basement storage. Haven't had a mouse since, as long as we're plugged in. When in storage I leave plenty of TomKat poison blocks, in the basement storage and around the outside by the tires.

We had that problem with a class A we had. I found this product at Tractor Supply (Fresh Cab #1 Botanical Rodent Repellant). Place a packet in each of our basement compartments as well as under bathroom & kitchen sinks and pantry. We have not had a problem since. Change the packets out about every 3 to 4 months.

We use Fresh Cab as well available at Tractor Supply, Amazon, Rural King and some Do It Best hardware stores. We put them in all areas with easy entry points for mice including the slides, doors, basement areas, etc. No problems using it yet. We also use a spray called Rodent Defense I found on Amazon that we can apply to exterior surfaces as an additional deterrent made with natural ingredients. We are not full time and keep our unit in storage over the winter months except for one winter trip to a warmer climate. I believe that if you don't take some precautions of some type you are asking for trouble and these are inexpensive solutions. Mice have been known to do major damage to electrical systems by chewing through wires leaving some folks with an expensive mess to deal with. Good luck!
