Schwintek Slide Out Motor Controller Question

The controller has 2 motor outputs and will keep them in sync. Does one motor follow another (master / slave) or does one speed up and another one slow down? And is the position encoder output pulsed? How many pulses per rev? Trying to educate myself a little. Haven't been able to find much other than basic info. Thanks!

I know the words, don't consider me an expert, despite Googling "Schwentek slide motor" on more than one occasion!

The systems use a Hall effect sensor, to keep the motors synchronized. To help prevent issues, it is recommended you run these slides all the way in or out when operating, don't start, stop or run partially and then back. Also, once the slide has moved all the way in or out, it is recommended to keep the button / toggle switch depressed for about 3 seconds as this helps to maintain the synchronization.

    Hope this helps!

That is exactly what the Lippert reps told us at the Rally last month.
