    American Made Tires

Jayco announced today that they will start equipping all their units with a new, American made Goodyear Endurance ST tire. I will be interested to see how this plays out, and will any other manufacturers hop on board.

That could be a real game changer in the RV industry. So many people are frustrated with the options available for 14-15" tires on towables. The Endurance brand is very new for Goodyear. I wish I could find out some specifications on the new tires.

For now, Goodyear has an exclusive agreement with Jayco. But I'll bet if other manufacturers approach Goodyear that might change. Time will tell, and I'll be watching.

Right now, the Goodyear Endurance RSA tire is being marketed as a heavy duty ribbed tire for garbage truck service. They say it's going to eventually be available in 11 different sizes in G and H load ratings.

That sounds heavy enough to handle popular size RV's including motor homes.

Good, bold move for Jayco. I thought for sure Thor would mess up a good rv company, but not yet it seems. Hope to see many more companies follow suit. Even if it's an ST tire, it's still American jobs, and hopefully better quality.

That is the type move that can differentiate a company from the pack, especially within the experienced RV crowd when replacing or upgrading. Great to see, hope it is a game-changer for Jayco as then it can help the industry as a whole.
