Yellowstone, Tetons and Park City Utah Part One
We left Truckee on 9/4 with my cousin and his wife following with their rig. Our first destination was Jackpot, NV at the Idaho border.
Arrived at Jackpot and we were pleasantly surprised with the Cactus Pete RV park. The pull through in the reservation section of the park was double stacked so we shared the same site with my cousin. The casino was a surprise, very clean and the food was pretty good. We even won a few dollars.
Next day drove through Idaho and entered the park through the west entrance. Weather changed and the final pushed to Fishing Bridge RV Park was in a snow storm. Fishing Bridge was as described, very close sites with narrow roads through the campground. Had some issues backing into the site but after some effort we got it done. Spent three nights there as we toured the park. It's a great location for getting around the park. The village there even has a mobile repair truck out of the service station.
We then headed south to the Tetons and our reservation at Coulter Bay on Jackson Lake.Brian and Paula- Truckee, CA

Part Two
We stayed three nights at Coulter Bay's RV Park which is a nice location and adjacent to the village and all the amenities they have. Spots were pull through with full hook ups. Didn't get a picture but there is plenty of shade and room between the sites. We did a hike around Jenny Lake (7 miles) and some fishing on the Snake River.
We then moved camp to the south east edge of the park and set up at the Gros Ventre Campground. There are over 300 sites and are on a first come first serve basis. Max stay is 14 days and the park gets busy late in the day, but many of the crowd are just stopping over for one night. There are a few sites with hookups but I hear they are hard to get. The campground is along side the Gros Ventre River and not far from Mormon Row and other sites in the park. We had moose in camp and on the river, along with pronghorn and buffalo nearby. Had a chance to meet Sean Michaels, who with his wife has a YouTube channel called Long Long Honeymoon (LOLOHO). They have traveled all over the US pulling their Airstream and make great videos documenting their travels and experience. Had a great talk with him and got a few photo taking tips.
After 3 nights there we headed down to Park City, UT and stayed at the River's Edge Resort which is next to the Provo River just outside Heber City. Its a fishing camp with cabins and 30 RV sites with full hookup pull through sites. The Provo River here is a Blue Ribbon fly fishing river and the photo's in the office prove it. The sites only have 50amp hookups, its quiet, clean and close to Park City.
Sorry for the long post, once I started I lost track .......Brian and Paula- Truckee, CA

What a difference a few weeks makes. We wondered what the Tetons looked like without the smoke. Thanks for posting those pics.
