    Cable Box install

Not sure if I'm in the right place for this. I have an Xfinity cable box (1st time in forever) I've had a box. I want to install the box up in the cabinet with the internet boxes, but I don't want the cable hanging out the door and I can't figure out how to take the TV off the mount or the radio out to try and feed the HDMI cable thru. I would like to try and avoid cutting a hole in my new cabinets.

The plastic trim on radio will snap off. Pull on it. Radio will have some screws holding it.

I don't know if cables are secured between radio and tv. If you can pull the tv feed out with a couple feed lines, I think so. There is insulation in the walls

Arnold--we installed a separate DVD player in the upper left cabinet and connected it to the TV with a HDMI cable. I did remove the radio just as LC stated and was able to see/access all the wires/cable/cords etc. relatively easily. Was relatively easy to route the cable through existing holes in cabinets. Another person to hold the radio while you are doing this or securing the radio so it does not hang from all the wires/cables is a good idea. I used a couple bungee to support the radio since it was just me at the time.

Our TV just pulls up about an inch or so from the bracket and then it is loose. Attached are some pictures of our bracket and back of TV.......not sure what the 303s being built now use........hopefully someone with a 2017 will share more on this and post pictures for you/others.

Thanks to all - I pulled the radio to look and see that I will be able to pull the cable up and through with little problems. I need to pick up some string to do that. One thing that has me stump. How to take the TV off the wall mount. It will move up about 1/2 inch, but won't come off the mount. I don't want to break anything.

On our 2016 313 pull trailer there is a latch on the top left side of the TV mount that has to be opened to lift the TV off the mount

If you have a drawer below the TV, pull it out and you can access the area where the cables to the TV run. There is a hole behind the TV to run your cable thru.
