I see you have the front living. was your closet as tight as mine? I can't figure out how the dryer vent tube can be routed to the spot where GD put the target for the hole thru the side wall. Did yours have that very same target posted in the closet? Is that the only place to drill the 4" hole?
And what is in those walls? If I move the vent hole location how can I find frame members?? got any helpful hints on installation?

You can run the vent up the back and then across to the top and connect to the periscope elbow.

Well, no, because of a small, I'll call it a shelf, but it's not really a shelf at the top rear of the washer/dryer closet. The dryer pushes right up against that board. The board is really the continuatiuon thru the wall of the main closet's shelf. It was notched halfway and the wall separating the W/D closet and main closet was notched half way so I didn't want the cut that out. It looks sort of structural. so no clear path to route 4" flex up and over the top of dryer and thendown the other side to exit vent.
