Shower wand flow low on GD2150

The shower head flow is low on this trailer, and wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what was the cause and what did you do to fix the problem.

I checked the head assembly and line for debris, nothing.

    Thanks

Remove the shower hose and see if there is just a small hole in the plastic connection. I drilled mine out and greatly improved the flow.

I would imagine they use ultra low flow so that you do not run out of HW too fast... If you drill it out, go conservative, a little bit will make a big difference.

So I did some more trouble shooting. Connected the trailer to city water and it worked fine. When I just use the trailer pump the cold water spits like there is air in the line. But I have let it run and it spits water often during operation.

Thanks for all the recommendations so far.

You didn't hear this from me...

If you disconnect the hose, you will see flow restrictors in the bottom of the shower head, possibly in the hose (there weren't any in ours), and in the port where the hose connects to the valves.

The one in the shower head, I'm told, can be pried out.

You may find, I'm told, that the restrictor on the valve unit has a flap that covers a small hole in the front. If you remove it, water will shoot out of that hole. I'm told that it's there to cause "undesired operation" if the restrictor is removed (thanks to our congress, who are all expert plumbers as well as legislators). A small drop of silicone caulk over that hole will solve the issue.

I'm told that if you remove all of the restrictors, you will have essentially residential water pressure. You will use more water, so if you are dry camping you need to be aware of that.

    RamGunner,

The FW tank is 2/3 full. The kitchen and bathroom faucets work fine.
