    Winnebago Ownership

So, for those in the know about Winnebago, how could their purchase of Grand Design affect service, warranty, etc?

My hope is that they realize that Grand Design is doing something right, that they will let them keep doing it, and that they will adopt the same practices across the whole Winnebago product line. According to the documents that many of us have read, nothing is going to change near-term.

I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forum! Are you a Grand Design owner, or thinking about purchasing one? Personally, I don't believe we'll see much difference. I'm still going to expect great customer satisfaction. There have been quite a few threads on this forum regarding the purchase. I'm going to link some of them for you here:

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am a Keystone Fifth Wheel owner hoping to move to a Momentum 388. I have read good reviews about GD and, frankly, am a little dismayed about the owners selling to Winnebago. I was looking forward to the customer service from GD touted on this forum and others. Now I am a bit skeptical about what's to come. Hopefully it will get even better but I know nothing about Winnebago other than they have been around a long time. May put off my purchase a while to see the fall out.

Welcome to our group! We are on our second GD. I, for one, tend to think that two already fantastic companies will only get better! I believe that each company will take the good from the other to implement even better customer service and build quality.

Welcome. I followed this forum for two years before purchasing our Reflection. We moved from Keystone to Grand Design and couldn't be happier. Our Reflection has been trouble free other than a couple of small issues that I could take care of myself. I doubt you will see any significant changes over the next few months. Most components are only covered by the warranty for a year anyway. If there's a Grand Design model you like I wouldn't hesitate.

I've pretty much settled on Grand Design and the 388. Now I just need to find the right price and pull the trigger.
