I did receive a notice about this in the mail about a week ago. Did offer remedy in form of updated placard. I'm a bit concerned as this shaves a hefty 1200 pounds from my GVWR. We take long trips for up to two weeks (planning a longer one summer 2017 from Indiana to California and back) with two adults, two kids, dog, gear, groceries, etc. Notice indicated axles are 7000 pound rated but the rims are only for 3200 pounds each and thus the need for the recall. Would rather have a set of 3500 pound rated rims and keep the same placard! I checked the tires and they are rated for a bit over 3500 pounds each so ok there. Thoughts?
