    Adding vent fan in bedroom

    Hi all,

I am the new owner of a 2017 Reflection 27RL and noticed in the bedroom the lack of airflow and it can get quite warm in the bedroom.

To solve this problem I wanted to add a dual flow direction fan in the vent above the bed as me and my wife dry camp 99% of the time.

The issue that I'm having is how can I get power to this area. I know the trailer is pre-wired for a second air conditioner near this area but I'm assuming that is a 110v connection and I would need the power to be 12v from the battery. Is there space in between the roof and the ceiling of the room to run a wire from the nearest light or am I better off having camping world or someone install this for me.

I can do basic electrical and am pretty handy however I don't proclaim to be some guru.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I did that in my last trailer and found a wire from a ceiling light. In my case there was no existing vent so when I cut the hole I was able to fish around. In your case you may have to remove part of the frame for the old vent to fish a 12v wire but I'm sure you will be able to.

mstafford, It is pre-wired. There is an orange and white wire that you will see once your remove the plastic vent trim that's held on by 4 screws.

    So it's pre-wired for 110 and 12 volt? Cool!

Hi. I have a 303 also. Do you have any recommendations on a fan type/brand that would be best in both operation and quiet. I'm thinking one likenin the kitchen but I do like the idea of a two way fan
    Thanks

    Steve,
I went with a Fantastic Fan (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which is a two way and a smoke lid. We love the fan, it makes a huge difference in temperature and is a great white noise source. We did not get a remote or anything as the ceiling is so low there are no problems reaching it.
