Who have had a Refrigerator replaced
Our Norcold refrigerator only gets to 36* in the refrigerator with the sensor disconnected. It should be in the low 20's. Especially because the outside temp is only in the low 50's.
The Momentum has been at the shop for over a month with no news of a replacement. There was talk of only replacing the cooling unit.
Is this the normal process for a unit that is barely 1 year old?Backpacker and tent camper all my life, including BSA as a kid and adult.

Ours has been in FullTime operation since July of 2014 when we hit get road. It will occasionally start to get warmer but I'll switch to propane for a few hours and give the pipes a few raps with a screwdriver handle to break up ammonia crystals and it'll get back to normal. Our freezer typically maintains in the upper 20's and the fridge section around 40* on electric. Our freezer has never registered in the low 20's - even in outside temps at freezing.

Well it started out with the control module then the optical panel on the front of the refer. Finally after pulling my hair out a rep form Grand Design was able to come to my rescue and sent the dealer a complete refer and replaced the one that had several repairs made to it. As I said earlier it has worked flawlessly since and Grand Design really went to bat for me and took care of their customer and deserve kudos!

Thanks
Our rig has been at the dealer (Paul Evert's in Coburg, Oregon) for over a month. I have been trying to pull info from them every week.
Monday's info was nothing.
I called Grand Design. They said NO claim has been created. They said they would get back to me. I haven't heard anything. I called GD and all I got was a call to service person's voicemail.
I'm not real happy. Low to mid 40's is not where the temp should be. Especially with the outside air in the 50's.Backpacker and tent camper all my life, including BSA as a kid and adult.
