    Lightbulb Kitchen Sink Covers

My DH came up with this idea of storing the kitchen sink covers while not being used. I was putting them in our pantry and didn't like them there. This is handy (the larger cover you lift up and take out from the bottom and the smaller cover you lift straight up. It is pretty cool where we put them to get them out of the way so that they didn't take up any room. We put them on each end of the sink island. We used nice clothing hooks to hold them in place. The odd shaped larger cover required odd placement of the hooks. We are happy with our solution because we are in place for awhile.

Good idea! We like the covers when not using the sink but when you need to get in there it's always a shuffle to put the covers somewhere. Simple but effective!

I LOVE this idea! Unfortunately, I can't use it as our island (385TH) has rounded shelves on the ends.

Yes, we have used them on the sinks and want to have them handy. This was the best way for us to do it. It is functional and that's what I was looking for. Actually the rack for the microwave/convection oven fits on the side with the large sink cover.

That's awesome...we could have stored it in the pantry, but then stuff gets piled on top of them. So this was our best solution and it works pretty good.

Darn...the only other thing I could think of for you would be to put them on the side of the island facing the dining area if that's the way it is set up.
