Squeaky Floor - Reflection 29RS
Hi all,
We have recently notice our kitchen floor (between island and stove) start to squeak while walking over it. I notice a few others have also had this problem, however I couldn't see how anyone has fixed it. Has anyone else had the same issue and resolved it?
I'm wondering if the lino needs to be pulled up (and how this would be done), or can it be done from underneath (which would seem a large job)?
Cheers
Aaron

Squeaky Floor - Reflection 29RS
This'll sound dumb, but if this is not an every day - every location - issue you might try and relevel the rig. In our Momentum, sometime it seems where we're located the upper landing and by the sink downstairs will squeak. I can usually relevel the rig, and though it seems nothing significant changes it must adjust the frame slightly as it eliminates the squeaks. An RV chiropractic adjustment [emoji6].

Thanks arhayes. Unfortunately it has been doing it regularly in the same spot. We have been moving every few days so re-levelling quite a lot.
However appreciate the heads up! Thanks.

Aussie - can you get to that area from the basement? I can get into ours pretty far, but am not familiar with the Reflection layout. Good luck. Be interested to see the fix.

Aussie ? our Refection 303 has a squeak. Have determined it the bolts holding the island down.
Moving the island side to side will make the squeak.
Going to try some gorilla glue into the lag scew holes and retighten.

It can be difficult to find the sqeak. We have a 2015 303 purchased the end of 2014.

Our last 5th wheel had this problem and it was a Crossroads Cruiser. Sometimes it did not do it which leads me to believe that re-leveling will help. Other than this you may not be able to fix it! I also think humidity and temperature has something to do with it. At least it does in our house.

You're right - temperature has a great deal to do with it. As the sub-floor expands and contracts, the space, or lack of it, between the sheets of flooring changes. The only squeak we have in our rig is between the foot of the bed and the dresser in the bedroom. There's no squeak at all in the summer but, as soon as cold weather sets in, it starts squeaking. I'm pretty sound-sensitive, so this winter may be the time that it irritates me enough to try to do something about it. Fortunately, this is an area that's under carpet on top (rather than the BeauFloor) and is accessible from the basement underneath.
