    376th Factory weight with dual pane windows

    Here are the factory weights from the vehicle weight sheet for our 2017 Momentum 376th.

    Our unit has pretty much every factory option listed.

    Including:
    Dual pane windows
    Slide awnings
    Generator
    3rd AC

    Windows, AC & awnings added about 500 lbs to the weight compared to other units I looked at without them.

    GVWR 20000
    GAWR 21000 (all axles)
    UVW 16552
    Hitch Weight 3712
    Left side weight 6734
    Right side weight 6106

    CCC 3388

    I own a 2016 GMC 1 Ton Diesel SRW with and my yellow payload tag says 3722 so that means I have 10lbs to spare.....just kidding. That will be in the middle of the DRW payload ratings.

    Hey Dennis. We wanted a 3711 when we got our 379. I think I have a much better rig now.

    Someone proposed that dual pane windows might reduce the hitch weight on the 310GK since most of the windows are at or behind the axels. Thoughts?

    I will say that owning the 3711FL and being within all my specs including the GVWR of a Ford 1 Ton SRW short wheel base (141") was not good match for towing. Sometimes just being within the weight specs still doesn't make a good match. I think the problem was is there was very little storage forward of the axles in the front living room and the basement was only 32" wide so most the weight was aft of the axles in the bedroom and the bathroom plus a very large pantry. Full loaded for a 30 day trip our pin weight percentage went down .8 from the dry pin. Side winds with the most of the added weight aft of the wheels coupled with short wheel base truck cause a control problems even in lighter winds. The Solitude tows so much better then the 3711FL but it is 5 foot shorter with a larger percentage of weight on the pin.

    I don't think it's going to make that much of a difference. Read some the toy hauler post about how much weight a 1000 lbs golf cart reduces the pin weight only couple hundred pounds. I also went from the Ford to a GMC Denali and only lost 20 lbs in cargo from 3744 to 3722. I gained a 37 gallon tank, 11 inches in wheel base and a better ride.
