    Furrion Solar Panel

Has anyone purchased the Furrion 95w portable solar panel? This is the suitcase solar panel that plugs into the Furrion plug on the side of my 2600 Imagine. I'm interested in it and would like some feedback before committing to purchase. Thanks

I haven't but Renogy makes a better product for half the price and you can buy a $10 adapter that will allow you to plug it into the Furrion plug on the side of your rig the same way theirs does. That's what I'll be purchasing within the next couple months...

I was looking at this also. I think the reason Zamp is so much more is that they have a waterproof controller. I'm not sure if the extra $150 or so is worth it when it starts raining and you can stay in your RV. I really like that idea....still looking. Just a note, Zamp uses monocrystaline panels.....

Because of lower silicon purity, polycrystalline solar panels are not quite as efficient as monocrystalline solar panels. Lower space-efficiency. You generally need to cover a larger surface to output the same electrical power as you would with a solar panel made of monocrystalline silicon.

For the same amount of money as Renogy's portable kit, you can get their 100 watt RV kit. You get the ability to mount the controller in side the RV, get 30' cables which allows more freedom to position the solar panel. You will need to make your own stand, but that shouldn't be hard to do.

If you go with Zamp here is a plug for it. I think Renogy sells one too.

You can purchase a Solar Connector to fit the Furrion Female plug on your trailer for $11 from https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Pin-Power...item1c772324c9
Amazon now has 150 Watt Suitcase Panels for $180.

I bought these and they work fine.
