    Greystone Fireplace

    2015 337RLS.
When I turn off the fireplace, no heat, no flames but the logs stay lit up all the time...

    Any ideas?

    Hi Mike,

There are 3 separate functions within the fireplace.
    1) the electric heating element and fan at the top
    2) three light bulbs across the bottom that light the logs
    3) a rotating reflective rod that bounces the light from the bulbs up on to the background (the flames).
All controlled by a circuit board.
It sound like the relay that turns off the bulbs is not going off with everything else.
I would try turning off the circuit breaker for the fireplace to see if this resets the relay.
Otherwise . . . you are looking at replacing the circuit board . . . or more likely the fireplace.

Thanks Rob for this great info ...
I tried the circuit breaker but no change. At least I can turn the heat off.

In Tucson, AZ for the winter. Will see if it holds out with no more malfunctions until I get home in the spring.
Probably just as easy to replace the fireplace. They seem to be less than $300 online.
