Fixes for curved headboard on 348 momentum

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out a solution to the curved area in front of the matress. When I sit up in bed, my head hits the head knocker cabinet. There is this huge gap between the wall and the matress. I've considered a bolster but if it's a wedge, I'll have the same problem.

I haven't had a problem with the gap, but I see it. I did get a 6 ft piece of pipe insulation from Lowes and wrap it around the ledge to provide a bumper for my head.
